SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A vehicle struck and killed a person on Tuesday afternoon. A caller to 911 said just before 5 p.m. that a pedestrian was struck near the intersection of Atlantic Street at Golden Avenue. The caller said the victim was on the ground, bleeding, and not talking.
