Report of abduction in Springfield was caused by 2 thieves who ditched stolen bike

A woman thought she witnessed an abduction outside her window.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- City police say a reported abduction two weeks ago was really a case of a stolen bicycle.  Now they’re looking for two thieves, not a kidnapper.
