SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Once a major highway, now just a quiet boulevard, College Street has seen busier days. However, this former route of U.S. 66 holds a lot of hope for urban renewal. The city has big plans to redevelop the street with landscaping, lighting, and gateways.
