NIXA, Mo.-- Fire did extensive damage early Sunday morning to a home in Nixa. It happened in the 900 Block of E. Ozark Jubilee Road. A passerby called the fire into 911 about 3:30 am. When crews got there, flames were burning through the roof. The Nixa Fire Department says everyone inside was able to get out of the home safely. Firefighters from Nixa, Battlefield, Ozark and Springfield helped fight the fire.
