Fatal shooting rattles southeast Springfield neighborhood, but information is scarce

A man was shot in a car in a driveway, but police won't release his identity or whether others might be in danger.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- City police released few details on Friday about a homicide investigation a few blocks north of Battlefield Mall.  Police said they would wait for autopsy results before discussing the homicide.
