SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Sunday afternoon near the intersection of South Campbell and Woodland. Police say witnesses in the area reported hearing multiple gun shots around 1:30 pm. Friends found a man around 35 years old with a gun shot wound to the chest in a nearby alley. Police say he later died at a local hospital.
