Plans in progress for 330 workers laid off from Regal Beloit

Community job leaders said there will be concentrated efforts to educate and train the workers with new skills.

Springfield, Mo. --  Education and employment leaders starting meeting Wednesday morning following the announcement that major Springfield manufacturer Regal Beloit planned to close its doors and eliminate 330 jobs.  Regal Beloit made that announcement just yesterday.
