Service that provides 1 million meals for seniors faces volunteer shortage

Springfield, Mo. -- The Southwest Missouri Office on Aging prepares more than one million meals every year for senior citizensin the Ozarks.  Of those million meals, more than 700,000 are delivered to disabled and low-income seniors who rely on them to survive.  But a drop in volunteers is making it difficult to keep that work up at a time when demand is growing.
