Diane and Rachel Staudte are charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- New court documents about the murder-by-antifreeze cases against Diane and Rachel Staudte show police got an anonymous tip last September that Diane Staudte might have killed her son and husband. The tip came on the day that Shaun Staudte, 25, died. Police didn’t arrest Diane Staudte until last week, however, after one of her daughters was hospitalized with an illness that could have killed her. That was after another anonymous tip was made to Springfield police on June 11.
