LGBT community gearing up for Pridefest as task force studies protected class ordinance

Task force should file report in August

SPRINGFIELD,  -- A Springfield task force is exploring the implications of adding sexual orientation and gender identity to protected class status. Those in favor are taking their message to downtown streets this weekend for the annual Pridefest.
