Deer hunting approved within Branson city limits

Branson, MO - The Board approved the final reading of a bill approving an amendment to Chapter 58 of the Branson Municipal Code pertaining to hunting within the City.  Police Chief Kent Crutcher and Brad Jump, Urban Wildlife Biologist from the Missouri Department of Conservation answered questions about how best to notify neighboring property owners and residents of the permitted hunting.  Mr. Jump stated that all communities in Missouri that allow hunting within their City place the responsibility for notification on the hunter or the land owner, rather than the City.
